MetLife to launch Employee Benefits into Irish insurance market 

MetLife, one of the world’s leading insurers, has announced it will launch its first products in Ireland in 2026, starting with Group Life cover as part of its wider employee benefits offering. 

MetLife Europe d.a.c. (trading as MetLife) is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. MetLife Group already employs nearly 200 people in Ireland across its European head office in Dublin and campus in Galway and operates in 11 countries in Europe.  

Launching Group Life in Ireland marks the next stage in MetLife’s commitment to the country, underpinned by its dedication to providing world-class employee benefits and a strong culture of innovation. Strengthening its presence and bringing over 150 years of experience in protection and service expertise to give Irish employers, brokers and employees greater choice.
